These Terms of Use govern the use of Sintesys Student. By accessing or using the application, users are deemed to have understood and agreed to these terms.
1. Definitions
- Application means Sintesys Student, the student academic service mobile application.
- User means a student or authorized party granted access by Universitas Siliwangi.
- Sintesys means the integrated systems and services managed by Universitas Siliwangi.
2. User Eligibility
The application may only be used by users who have an official account and access rights from Universitas Siliwangi. Users must keep their account secure and must not share access with others.
3. Service Functions
The application may provide access to academic profiles, class schedules, attendance information, grades, announcements, notifications, and other student services available according to university policy.
4. User Responsibilities
- Use the application only for academic and official university service purposes.
- Provide accurate information when using features that require user input.
- Maintain the security of accounts, devices, and SSO credentials.
- Not perform manipulation, falsification, unauthorized access, unauthorized scraping, reverse engineering, or disruption of the application or university systems.
- Not misuse attendance features, including using fake GPS, unlawfully sharing QR Codes, or submitting attendance for another person.
5. Attendance and Location Validation
Attendance features may use QR Codes, attendance codes, time validation, location validation, and other technical checks to verify attendance validity. Misuse of attendance may be handled under applicable academic rules and disciplinary procedures.
6. Service Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the application available and functional. However, services may be interrupted due to maintenance, network issues, device failure, system updates, or circumstances beyond the controller's control.
7. Data Accuracy
Data displayed in the application comes from academic systems and official university services. If data appears inaccurate, users may contact the relevant unit or Sintesys support.
8. Intellectual Property
Names, logos, designs, code, content, and application elements are owned or managed by Universitas Siliwangi, unless stated otherwise. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the application without written permission.
9. Access Restriction and Termination
The controller may restrict or terminate user access if there is a violation of these terms, misuse, security threat, or request from an authorized unit.
10. Privacy
User personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page.
